York Theatre Debuts ‘African Cats’ on Earth Day
Disneynature’s newest movie, “African Cats,” opens with a limited run on Earth Day on Friday, April 22, at the York Theatre and five other Classic Cinemas locations daily at 12:10, 2:20, 4:30, 6:40 and 8:50 p.m.
Filmed over a span of several years, this epic true story was captured in one of the wildest places on earth, Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Relating stories of the lion cub Mara; the cheetah, Sita, and her brood of five; and the lion Fang, leader of his pride, “African Cats” is an awe-inspiring adventure, as well as a heartwarming tale.
Perfect for groups, “African Cats” is both educational and inspirational. For groups of 75 or more, Classic Cinemas will also schedule 10 a.m. showings of this movie.
