Wolf & Company Makes a Difference This Holiday Season
Wolf & Company employees have made a commitment this holiday season to give the gift of giving by participating in various firm sponsored volunteer events. “Volunteering makes a huge impact in the lives of others and it’s an opportunity to make someone’s holiday wish come true. Employees find it rewarding to devote the time and energy to better the lives of others and the community in which they live in. Our employees’ involvement in the community is an indication of how committed they are to our core values” says Russ Romanelli, Managing Partner.
Employees participated in a food drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository in an effort to help those in need this holiday season. Through this volunteer effort, 4,225 items were donated. Some items that were collected include: canned meat, fruit and vegetables, fruit juice, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, peanut butter, rice, stew/soup and whole grain cereal.
Forty Wolf & Company employees volunteered at the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva, Illinois. Volunteers were able to do a variety of projects including sorting, evaluating, cleaning and packaging donated food prior to distribution. Northern Illinois Food Bank serves over 61,000 individuals each week through a network of more than 660 food-assistance sites.
Lastly, the firm made a donation to Leyden Family Service and Mental Health Center. They provide a variety of counseling, treatment and preventative services for adults, adolescents, children, senior citizens and those that suffer from mental illnesses.
