Kohler, WI – Wild Abundant Life, one of the nation’s premiere yoga teacher training and wellness operators, today announced the merger of Wild Abundant Life with Chicago- based business woman and yogi, Debbie Russo, owner of NEXT Yoga in Wheaton.
The merger, according to Deborah Williamson, Founder and President of Wild Abundant Life, will “accelerate the growth of our teacher training programs – through both the expansion of our satellite programming, (in Illinois, Iowa, Florida, Nevada, Washington D.C and Wisconsin), and through the establishment of our new Illinois headquarters in a centralized location with a partner whose authentic passion for yoga, wellness and empowerment mirror perfectly our own philosophy.”
Currently, Wild Abundant Life offers 200 & 300/500 hour yoga teacher training program with satellite locations around the country.
“With the rapid growth of yoga, and the need throughout the U.S. for qualified teachers able to teach multiple styles and modalities, I wanted to identify a partner who not only is an excellent teacher, coach and business woman, but who offers expertise in building the business to include a more robust team of facilitators and curricular offerings.
Debbie Russo understands, shares and compliments my original vision for creating a legacy of teachers and students ready to better the world through yoga. We’re also delighted to have a new permanent headquarters and training facility. Debbie Russo and NEXT Yoga are the perfect fit,” Williamson explained.
Debbie Russo, President of NEXT yoga, concurred. “I have known Deborah for years and we have formed a close personal and business relationship. Deborah shares my passion and belief that everyone should practice yoga. As we help yoga teachers to expand their reach to a wider range of venues, we’re helping more people to experience and benefit from the practice of yoga.
Our fully equipped, stand alone, teacher-training center, along with our studios in Wheaton, IL (now open) and Elmhurst, IL (opening fall 2016), are literally twenty minutes from O’Hare airport, and accessible from anywhere in the country.”
Williamson and Russo are both firmly committed to bring the physical, spiritual, and mental benefits of yoga to yogis around the world.
But as Williamson points out, “this can only be done by having the best trained teachers from a program with groundbreaking curriculum and a commitment to excellence. Debbie Russo and I are excited to partner in expanding Wild Abundant Life’s leadership in this area.
In addition to our Illinois training center, we’re actively developing new leaders to offer our signature programming, both 200 Hour and 300/500 Hour, at yoga facilities around the country. I’m looking forward to continuing to teach curriculum and programs, develop teachers, and further expand our mission, curriculum and programming for the better.”
