Business After Hours
York High School (355 West St. Charles Road) will host the Business After Hours on Wednesday, October 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., to show off its new Academic Building.

Community Service Award
“Elmhurst Our Kind of Town” will rebroadcast Elmhurst College’s Community Day football game and the halftime ceremony honoring Chamber President John Quigley for his community service on Channel 6 of AT&T Broadband this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and this Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

Fall Luncheon
Douglas L. Wjitley, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Illinois Chamber of Comerce, will be the Keynote Speaker at the Chamber’s Annual Fall Luncheon at The Diplomat West Banquet Halls, 681 West North Avenue, on Wednesday, October 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   Cost is $30.00 per person.

Willis and Shirley Johnson, Owners of the York Theatre (150 North York Street), have been named the first recipients of the Theatre Historical Society of America’s new President’s Award for their distinguished and outstanding contributions to the not-for-profit organization.  Willis is President of Downers Grove-based Tivoli Enterprises, which operates the York and 14 other Classic Cinemas movie theatres, while Shirley handles advertising for the family business.

Armand’s Pizzeria (105 West First Street) recently began delivery service in Elmhurst from 4:00 p.m. to closing daily.

Elene Cafasso, a trained Executive and Personal Life Coach with Enerpace, Inc.
