Warrenville, Illinois—PowerForward DuPage today announced that Karyn McCarthy has joined the organization as its new Executive Director to bring heightened awareness that PowerForward DuPage is the authority and benchmark in electrical expertise, energy and communication technologies in DuPage County, Ill., and in the Chicago area.
“PowerForward DuPage has the best trained, most educated and highly skilled electrical talent, and Karyn is a huge asset to bring that message to businesses, developers, contractors, and municipalities to further the excellence and growth in the electrical industry in DuPage County and beyond,” Frank Furco, Business Manager at IBEW Local 701, said. “Karyn’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and her wealth of experience in marketing and management make her a key addition to PowerForward DuPage.”
McCarthy comes to PowerForward DuPage with more than 22 years of experience in management, marketing and advertising. She spent the last several years at creative agency, MACLYN, in Lisle, Ill., where she worked closely with PowerForward DuPage to develop its new brand, website and marketing initiatives. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University.
PowerForward DuPage also proudly announced that Lauren Mesich has been internally promoted to Operations Director. Celebrating 19 years with the organization in July, Mesich will be responsible for managing the organization’s daily operations, as well as managing the drug testing and bonding programs.
