MUSSO TO JOIN ELMHURST CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ELMHURST, Ill., December 15, 2011—Tracy Musso of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare (155 East Brush Hill Road) has been appointed to fill a vacated seat on the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Board of Directors.
Her appointment by Chairman of the Board Jennifer Speaker of SMB Advantage Group (188 Industrial Drive, Suite 214) was approved during the Board’s December 13 meeting at the Chamber.
Musso, Manager of Development for EMHC, will be sworn into at the Board’s January 10 meeting at Elmhurst College.
Musso will serve the final year of the three-year Director’s term of Helen Levinson, who resigned due to her commitments as Co-Owner of Desert Rose Design. She was among nine candidates who ran for seven Board seats in the October elections.
Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare has regularly had a representative serving of the Chamber Board. Most recently, Director of Development Susan Tyberski (2006-11) served the maximum of two elected terms as a Director.
Prior to EMHC, Musso held fundraising and development positions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Art Institute of Chicago and Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Musso is a member, Board member and Past Chair of the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club, and has served on the Hinsdale Historical Society and Addison Mayoral Ball committees.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of Utah.
Musso currently resides in Hinsdale.
Established in 1918, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together to promote the civic and commercial progress of the community.
The Chamber also serves the needs of its members through services, programs and events that provide opportunities for networking and referral, business education, development and promotion, governmental representation and community involvement.
