Counseling sessions are designed to strengthen families and individuals by helping them examine and develop solutions for problem areas in their lives.

The Elmhurst Office supports older adults through individual, group and family counseling and information services. It also supports family caregivers of older adults through consultation, counseling and education.
Suzanne Knuepfer Senior Guest House

This five-bedroom home provides respite care for seniors while their family caregivers are away. The Guest House is staffed 24 hours per day and provides three home-cooked meals per day, socialization and activities. Temporary housing for seniors in crisis is also available.
In-Home Respite Care

In partnership with the faith community, volunteers are screened and trained to visit frail older seniors at home while the family caregiver takes a weekly break.
MetroMentors
Boys and girls aged 7 to 14 from singleparent families are matched with adult volunteers who serve as friends and role models for the children.
Youth Intervention Program
Adolescent and parent groups, counseling and public presentations are services available to promote positive youth development. Services are available to individuals and families residing in DuPage County.
