BizKids Best Ball Scramble
The Chamber and Elmhurst Family YMCA (211 West First Street), with Major Event Sponsorship from the Catalano Mortgage Group of American Home Mortgage (112 South York Street) and Suburban Bank & Trust Co. (150 East Butterfield Road), are co-sponsoring the BizKids Best Ball Scramble at White Pines Golf Club (500 West Jefferson Street, Bensenville) on Tuesday, July 26, with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. The cost of $175.00 per person includes 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch and dinner. Fourth of July Celebration
The Elmhurst Jaycees (P.O. Box) will conduct the Independence Day Parade through downtown Elmhurst Monday, July 4, at 12:00 noon. The Elmhurst Historical Museum (120 East Park Avenue) will host a post-parade Ice Cream Social sponsored by Suburban Bank & Trust (150 West Butterfield Road).
The Elmhurst Running Club, with title sponsorship from Community Bank of Elmhurst (330 West Butterfield Road), will conduct “4 of the 4th,” a four-mile race, and a Kid’s Run prior to the parade at 9:00 and 10:00 a.m., respectively. Elmhurst’s 87th Annual Memorial Day Parade, jointly sponsored by the Chamber, Elmhurst American Legion T.H.B. Post 187, Elmhurst Veterans of Foreign Wars Walter A. Glos Post 2048 and the City of Elmhurst, through downtown and Post-Parade Military Ceremony in Wilder Park is airing on “Elmhurst Our Kind of Town” on Channel 6 of Comcast on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. in June.
The Spring Road Pet Parade, sponsored by the Spring Road Business Association and Chamber, is airing on “Elmhurst Our Kind of Town” on Channel 6 of Comcast on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. in June.
