Illinois Eligible for SBA Loans
As expected, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) on March 19 approved Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s application for small businesses and not-for-profits across our state to be declared eligible for low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance of up to $2 million relating to financial damages caused to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

Senator Durbin COVID-19 Update

Families First Response Act
Immediately following its passage by the U.S. Senate on March 18, U.S. President Donald J. Trump on March 18 signed in law the “Families First Coronavirus Response Act,” first enacted by the U.S. House of Representative, as the second of three major pieces of legislation designed to provide financial assistance to American workers and families.
