ELMHURST, Ill., August 23, 2003 – Members of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry and their families will enjoy all the recreational amenities of the Holiday Inn Elmhurst’s Holidome at the Chamber’s annual Steak Fry, in celebration of Chamber of Commerce Week in Elmhurst from September 14-20.
The Chamber’s 2003 Family Steak Fry will be held at the Holiday Inn Elmhurst, 624 North York Street, on Wednesday, September 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
“This is the perfect way for our members to enjoy a fun-filled family event,” said Chamber President John Quigley, “while celebrating Chamber of Commerce Week.”
The cost is $15.00 per adult, with children/grandchildren free with a paid adult.

Adults will dine on steaks from The Silverado Grill (447 Spring Road) in Elmhurst, while children will chomp down on hamburgers and hot dogs. Desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by the Holiday Inn and Chase Root Beer (867 North Addison Avenue, Suite 4D), while alcoholic beverages can be purchased. GO! Products (576 North Michigan Avenue) will provide a Chill “N Grill for the cookout.
Chamber members will have use of the indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and other Holidome amenities.
Established in 1918, the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together to promote the civic and commercial progress of the community.
The Chamber also serves the needs of its members through services, programs and events that provide opportunities for networking and referral, business education, development and promotion, governmental representation and community involvement.
