As Elmhurst’s Community Theatre, GreenMan Theatre Troupe (founded 2003) provides diverse, quality theatrical entertainment for its audience, opportunities for personal growth in theatrical arts for its members, and a source of cultural enrichment and pride for our community.
GreenMan stages four major productions running for two to four weeks during its October-through-June season, typically performed at the First United Methodist Church and Angelo’s Ristorante. The Troupe regularly partners with other Elmhurst organizations, such as the Elmhurst History Museum and the Elmhurst Park District.
GreenMan performs a diverse selection of plays presented with the highest standards of production quality. Additionally, the Troupe engages the community through talk-back sessions with the actors and directors, and through workshops and classes for all levels of interest.
