Citing the latest Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) data on the continued increase in Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic cases across the state, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on November 13 signed a new Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation extending the his statewide declaration through December 12 and signed another Executive Order to all extend all Restore Illinois Phase 4 orders.
The Governor also signed an Executive Order to modify and extend the moratorium on residential evictions.
Preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total tests from November 6-the week of 12 increased to 13.2 percent. On October 29, IDPH started reporting the statewide test positivity, which is the number of positive tests as a percent of total tests, in its daily releases. Regions 1, 5, 7 and 8 (DuPage County) remain rolled back to enhanced Tier 2 mitigations, while all other regions in the state are back to enhanced Tier I mitigations.
