The Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hired Grace Bagnole to fill its vacant Director of Member Services position, effective August 2, ECCI President and CEO John R. Quigley announced.
“I am pleased to have Grace join our Chamber staff,” stated Quigley, ECCI’s President and CEO since 1999. “We look forward to having her meet and network with both current members and member prospects.”
The Director of Member Services is responsible for member recruitment, member retention and member services, along with some office management duties.
“Grace will need to hit the ground running to implement ECCI’s annual membership recruitment campaign as part of our numerous Chamber of Commerce Month activities during September,” stated Quigley.
Bagnole brings with her a career’s worth of sales and marketing experience in the building industry, most recently as Sales Manager (2017-19) at Overstreet Builders.
Prior to that, Bagnole worked as Sales and Marketing Manager (2013-16) for Serosun Farms (2013-16), Krughoff Home Builders (2010-12), Reese Custom Residences (2000-08) and R.A. Faganel Builders (1993-2000).
The late Robert A. Faganel of Elmhurst, whose father John started building homes in Elmhurst in 1929, began building custom homes in the 1950s after graduating from Elmhurst College (now Elmhurst University), where in 2000 the Physical Education Center in named in his honor thanks to significant planned giving donation.
The Director of Member Services position has been unstaffed since last November, when Mariella Mastromauro resigned to become a Membership Retention position with the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce in Florida.
Preceding Mastromauro (2018-20) in a membership role were Tessa Zemgulys (2016-18); Kevin O’Keeffe (2012-14), now Executive Director of the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce; Betsy D’Onofrio (2008-10), now with ECCI member Inland Home Mortgage; and Ann Palumbo (2001-06).
