The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry is forwarding information from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago asking our membes to participate in a Re-Survey of Business Conditions in the Midwest resulting from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
Click HERE to participate in the survey by the deadline of Wednesday, June 10, at 11 p.m. (Central Standard Time).
Results from late April’s survey covering the five states (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin) with the Federal Reserve’s Seventh District can be viewed via “Perspectives from Main Street: The Impact of COVID-19 on Communities and the Entities Serving Them.” Survey results provide Federal Reserve policy-makers with data to make better-informed decisions and allows businesses to see how their condition compares to business peers by both region and industry.
The survey was created by Thomas Walstrum, Senior Business Economist in the Chicago Fed’s Economic Research Department, who also discussed the April results in his blog. He can be contacted directly via e-mail.
