Elmhurst, IL —GreenMan Theatre announces the cast and crew for their next production, “Doubtful Abbey: Murder and Mayhem at Fussworthy Manor.”
This production was written and will be directed by GreenMan board member Carolyn Thomas-Davidoff (Western Springs). The cast includes Bill Boggs (Elmhurst), Kathy Bright (Lombard), Joe Collins (Chicago), Marilyn Connolly (Elmhurst), Maureen Denhof (Carol Stream), Denis Duffy (Arlington Heights), Jon Ehrenstrom (Alsip), Tom Hughes (Elmhurst), Marki Kaim (Elk Grove Village), Stan Kosek (Villa Park), Carolyn Larsen (Glen Ellyn), Shazad Mehta (Chicago), Jerry Moore (Lombard), Kitty Morland (Chicago), Alice Rebecchi (Elmhurst), Mary-Carol Riehs (Elmhurst), Katie Soria (Lombard), Erick Sosa (Franklin Park), Ashley Thompson (Roselle), and Bruce Worthel (North Aurora).

“Doubtful Abbey: Murder and Mayhem at Fussworthy Manor” is set on the palatial estate of the Fussworthys in Britain during World War II. Guests are gathered for a birthday party for the Dowager Duchess, Lady Dolores Fussworthy. It is also, unbeknownst to the hosts, a gathering to raise funds for a West End musical. A jewel heist and murder ensue. This parody of the popular British television program “Downton Abbey”will serve as GreenMan’s dinner theatre fundraiser for 2014. Audiences will be able to enjoy an interactive show as well as a full-course Italian meal at Angelo’s Ristorante at 247 N. York for 5 weekend performances between February 21-March 2, 2014.
