Spirito! announces auditions for the 2017 Spring session for the Men of Spirito!, a choral group composed of men eighteen years of age or older who embrace Spirito!’s mission of fostering a love of chorale music through service and performance. “We are looking for a few good men!” said Molly Lindberg, Artistic Director of the Spirito! Singers. “If you can carry a tune, we will teach you the rest!”
The Men of Spirito! 2017 Spring Session runs from mid-January through May. We rehearse on Tuesday nights form 7-9 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Elmhurst. The group is a highly requested performance ensemble for community events, having performed last year at US Cellular Field singing the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox, at the United Center singing the National Anthem for the Chicago Bulls, at the Turkey Trot-a major run for hunger on Thanksgiving morning and at the Memorial Day Service at the Veterans Memorial in Wilder Park, Elmhust.
