William C. Gooch, Jr., Chairman of the Board and Richard W. Reichert, President and CEO of the Community Bank of Elmhurst announced that Barbara Savage will assume the role of Vice President and Cashier beginning on November 1, 2013. Savage, a resident of Elmhurst, had previously been a Personal Banker at CBE.
Savage has nearly 30 years of banking experience having served as Vice President and Cashier at First Security Bank of Wood Dale. She also is well-known in Elmhurst for having been a key staff member for several years at the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She follows Ruth Asmussen, Senior Vice President and Cashier, who is moving into a part-time role after twenty years at CBE.
