New church coming to Elmhurst
Journey Church, a non-denominational Christian Church, will have its Grand Opening Worship Service at 10AM on Sunday, October 14th at the Waterford Conference Center (933 South Riverside Drive) in Elmhurst.
Journey Church is a start up by Ignite Church Planting of Chicagoland. Steve Baker, Lead Pastor, is excited to see how God uses the new church to bring a fresh approach to people’s spiritual journey. “Our desire is for Journey Church to be a place where people can come as they are, experience authentic community, and discover what life with God is all about. Everyone is welcome. No experience required!”
Sunday Worship Services will offer a comfortable, engaging experience, with a live worship band, relevant teaching from the Bible, and creative media, all designed to help people connect with God. Exciting programming for children will also be available during Sunday Services. Have teens? Then you will definitely want to check out the Youth Ministry at Journey Church, which offers high impact programs for both middle school and high school students.
Dress is casual. Coffee is hot. People are real.
