“A Salute to Women” Spring Luncheon
The Chamber will honor the women who own member businesses at its “A Salute to Women Business Owners” Spring Luncheon at the Waterford Banquet Hall at Quality Inn (933 South Riverside Drive) on Wednesday, April 26, from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. The event coincides with Administrative Professionals Day. Lunch cost is $30.00 per person. For $100.00, honorees can staff a display table and will receive two lunch tickets.
Business After Hours
White Pines Golf Dome (500 West Jefferson Avenue, Bensenville) will host the Chamber’s Business After Hours on Wednesday, April 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Elmhurst Jaycees DSA Dinner
Larry Fricke, a 20-year volunteer development associate at Elmhurst College (190 Prospect Avenue), will receive the Elmhurst Jaycees’ 2006 Distinguished Service Award at a banquet at River Forest Country Club (15W468 Grand Avenue) on Thursday, April 6, starting at 6:00 p.m. with complimentary cocktails. The Center for Speech and Language Disorders (195 West Spangler Avenue, Suite B) will host the Chamber’s Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, April 19, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Pete DiCianni, Founder and President of DiCianni Graphics (421 South Addison Road, Addison), President of the Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation (P.O. Timothy Christian High School (188 West Butterfield Road) won the Mock Trial State Championship for the sixth time in nine years in Springfield on March 4. The team will represent Illinois at the national tournament in Oklahoma City in May.
