Classic Cinemas’ annual “Predict the Oscars” contest returns for the 2016 awards season! The nominees were announced on January 14, 2016, and it’s time to pick your favorites to win. On February 28, 2016, comedian Chris Rock will host the iconic Oscars ceremony, and thousands of Classic Cinemas ballots will soon reveal who predicted the correct winners. Movie lovers have until close of business on February 27, 2016, to enter the contest to win some amazing prizes.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive FREE movies for two for an entire year at any Classic Cinemas theatre location along with a gift card valued at $200, good at any of the 20 Chicagoland Francesca’s Restaurants. Entrants choose from among the nominees in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Visual Effects. Each of the thirteen Classic Cinemas locations will select one correct ballot for entry in the Grand Prize drawing.

Five runner-up winners will each receive a $100 Classic Cinemas gift card. Additionally, every correct entry will receive two movie tickets and a pair of passes to the Brookfield Zoo. Winning ballots will be drawn following the Oscars presentation and announced later that week.

Patrons can complete and deposit their ballots in the lobby of any of the 13 Classic Cinemas theatres starting January 15, 2016,and continuingthroughthe end of business on February 27, 2016. Entrants must be at least 16 years old, and only one entry per day is allowed. Contest rules are on back of ballots and posted in the theatre lobbies. The “Predict The Oscars” contest is co-sponsored by Brookfield Zoo and Francesca’s Restaurants.
